Closure and Pluggage

By James

Well, I finally made it back home Friday morning, after two nights in O’Hare.  The Friday morning flight was even delayed twice–which is what happened with the previous two flights before they were canceled.  Nice little scare to end the trip with!

In other news:

The kind folks at xbox360fanboy.com plugged The Dishwasher again.  From the post:

High in potassium and hella’ delicious. We say good job to you Mr. (XNA all-star) Silva, Dead Samurai looks amazing and the extreme amount of blood and blurring effects makes our eyes water with happiness. We say, bring on the dish washing!

THE DEMO IS AWESOME. Well done! Everything plays just as great as it looks. One minor question: with the warping, wouldn’t it be possible to hover endlessly by continually pressing RS-up? A perpetual defense doesn’t seem like it’s really the game’s style, you might want to put some kind of gravitational limiter on upward warping: just a thought.

Great job man, you should be very proud.

I also just downloaded your demo. This is the first time I’ve ever sought out a developer after playing their game. That was possibly the most refreshing experience I’ve had on the system in months (Since Mass Effect at least). What I loved most was you didn’t try and push the graphics. You chose an art style and kept with it, I really respect that. The whole control scheme is flawless, it all flows together and you ALWAYS feel in control. Its brutal, visceral, and above all wildly entertaining. For the love of god, keep up the great work.
